Broadway Cinema.
Broadway Cinema reimagines the classic movie-going experience through a contemporary lens, blending heritage architecture with modern design sensibility. The project celebrates the cinematic past while creating a vibrant social space for today’s audience.
The interior design draws inspiration from the golden age of cinema, expressed through rich materials, warm lighting, and bold geometric detailing. In the café, a Baux acoustic ceiling adds both texture and sound control, creating a calm, comfortable environment for conversation and relaxation. Textured wall panels, plush seating, and bespoke brass fixtures evoke a sense of nostalgia, while clean lines and modern finishes bring a fresh energy to the space.
The cinema also features intimate snug seating areas, defined by timber acoustic panels, offering private moments of pause within the bustling environment. Public areas are designed to encourage interaction and flow, from the welcoming lobby and ticketing area to the lounge bar, where guests can gather before or after screenings.
On the first floor, the mezzanine bar offers a more intimate, elevated perspective of the cinema below. Wall-to-wall sheer curtains by Dedar filter natural light softly across the space, complementing the sculptural lighting and comfortable lounge seating to create a relaxed retreat while maintaining a visual connection to the energy of the main auditorium and social areas.
The result is a cohesive, immersive environment that honors the building’s cultural history while defining a new era for Broadway Cinema.
